Reconnect after your phone drops out, and why another phone cannot take over
Go back to the referee tab on the same phone and the match is still there. One phone referees a court at a time, and a match with no referee screen open for 20 minutes is abandoned.
Your own phone reconnecting
Go back to the referee screen on the same phone and browser you were scoring with: switch back to that tab, or refresh it. If you closed it, reopen it from your browser's recent tabs or history. SCRD recognises your session and puts you straight back into the match, mid-score, with nothing to redo. Rescanning the court code opens the setup screen, not the match.
Referee Already Assigned
SCRD only lets one phone score a court at a time. If a different device tries to act as referee while a match is running, it sees Referee Already Assigned. Refresh & Retry only succeeds if it really is your own session reconnecting; Cancel goes back to the setup screen.
There is no button that hands the court to a different phone. If it is genuinely someone else scoring, ask them, or wait for the match to end.
A match left unattended
SCRD keeps a match assigned to whoever started scoring it, even through a dropped connection, so nobody else can step in. An open referee screen keeps the match going, even if nobody taps anything. After 20 minutes with no referee screen open and connected, SCRD ends the match automatically, records it with no winner, and frees the court for a new one. If your phone went flat, get it back on and reopen the tab inside those 20 minutes.
Back to the court
Point your phone's camera at the code on the court wall or the court TV. It opens the setup page for that court.
