Choose Short or Long at 8-8 (hand-in-hand-out only)
At 8-8 under traditional scoring the receiver picks how long the game runs. SCRD asks at that moment.
Hand-in-hand-out games are played to 9. At 8-8, SCRD stops play and asks the receiver, whichever player is due to receive serve at that score, to choose Short or Long before the next rally.
- Short: the game stays at 9.
- Long: the game goes to 10.
Picked the wrong one? Tap UNDO. It takes back the point that made it 8-8 along with the choice, so award that point again and SCRD asks again. If that point was itself a mistake, choose either, then tap UNDO and award the rally to the right player.
